"I Saw but I Did Not See" – A Solo Exhibition by Winston Smith

Originally planned for North Beach and postponed after Winston’s heart attack, this special pop-up show is finally here—one night only and everything is for sale right off the walls.

From new works born of our chaotic times to rarely-seen classics, expect a journey from the nightmare of oppression to the surreal dreamscape of imagination.

Don’t miss this chance to see—and collect—original art by one of punk’s most iconic voices.

 

OPENING THURSDAY, AUGUST 21ST from 5pm-10pm

BONUS RECEPTION: FRIDAY AUGUST 21ST from 11am-9pm

  • Thursday, August 21st

  • Exhibition opens at 5pm

  • Punk Rock Karaoke at 6pm

  • Bar open until 10pm

  • There are are few options for paid parking nearby: 1) SFMOMA Garage – 147 Minna Street; 2) Fifth & Mission (Yerba Buena Garage) – 833 Mission Street; 3) Minna Parking Lot – 46 Minna Street

  • 111 Minna is centrally located and near several stops. Take BART to Montgomery St or Muni Metro K/M/N/T for a 5‑min walk. Many buses (14, 14R, 38R) stop at Salesforce Transit Center / 1st & Mission, just 1‑3 min from 111 Minna.

  • Because 111 Minna has a full bar, this show is only open to 21 and over. Thank you for understanding.

America has spoken and has now lost its voice. Regrettably, for a (very slight) majority of voters, and for those who didn’t vote “because all politicians are corrupt,” Freedom and Equality did not make the list. We are deeply saddened by this.

We at Studio Fallout will strive to maintain our own virtues of wisdom, courage, justice, and temperance. Studio Fallout is a safe space, both virtually and at our Studio in North Beach.

We don’t care what your background is or what bathroom you use. We love and support you. We will make every effort to grow every day, learn from our mistakes and to bring joy into the world at every opportunity. And we hope you can do the same.
